Description: The world is full of well-known stories, such as Romeo and Juliet, the Christmas Gospel, and The Ugly Duckling. But what other interesting characters and events lie behind these beloved stories? What was the real dream job of the innkeeper who turned Mary and Joseph away? What kind of child welfare report was filed by the swan parents who lost their ugly duckling? And how might these classic stories have unfolded if there had been a small change in the chain of events?
The improvisation group Rinkeli delves into the supporting characters of well-known stories, making them the main characters and examining how the classic stories might have unfolded alternatively. The result is a hilarious performance that is familiar to everyone and yet unknown at the same time, putting characters who usually remain in supporting roles in the spotlight – not to mention delightful musical numbers!
