Description: Sonder is a work that seamlessly blends dance and theater to make the invisible visible. The performance dives behind everyday moments and subtle gestures, revealing people's rich inner worlds. On stage come alive those small thoughts, memories, and conflicts that usually stay hidden.
The piece features a seven-member ensemble of emerging dance and theater professionals. Its movement language emerges from interactions with everyday objects: an umbrella, coat, gloves, or pearl necklace serve as gateways to the characters' memories. For the audience, it unveils arresting moments where a single small gesture reveals an entire life.
Sonder captures the realization that every passerby has an inner reality as complex and meaningful as your own.
