Description: Turku Cathedral Park Terrace, a summer oasis of entertainment, will see performances burst into bloom alongside the linden leaves as the surprising Finfringe Festival once again takes over the terrace area, hosted by stand-up comedian Rebecka Vilhonen.

On Thursday, May 14th from 18 to 20, you can enjoy highlights from the festival programme as well as selected guest performers.

International guest performers from the main programme of the Finfringe Festival will offer a taste of their performances.


MAGIC ON THE TERRACE
Magician Jerry Nyholm, who amazed audiences at Finfringe last year, returns to astonish the crowd at the Cathedral Park Terrace. Diving into the deep end of magic, the performance takes the audience to the darker side of the mind — where even the humor slips into the shadows.


EXTRACTS OF HOPE
Extracts of Hope is a vertical dance piece by circus artist Heidi Miikki that reaches for freedom, explores courage, flies like a ninja, and climbs ever higher. The work speaks of radical, active hope, the courage to dream, and the bravery to be rebellious. This site-specific performance engages in a dialogue with the surrounding architecture and environment, highlighting their unique character through gravity-defying vertical dance. In Cathedral Park Terrace, Heidi Miikki dances in a tree.
